Hello, and welcome to Team Europa's blog. We will be using this space to post several assignments from our class about global cultures at Franklin University . Each of the four team members is researching the culture of a single European nation. My name is Michael, and I am researching Norway. Jeffrey is learning about Croatia, Caletia is studying the culture of Austria, and Mamoudou is researching Denmark.
The first blog post we will be writing concerns the Israeli-Palestinian conflict. We have been asked to defend the Israeli side of the conflict. Another group of students will argue for the Palestinian position. Other groups in the class will be debating different regional or ethnic conflicts. I think this might be a difficult assignment for some people. If you are asked to defend a position that you personally disagree with, it might be tough to analyze the situation from the other perspective.
